As a result, we developed various floor sanding and polishing solutions and methods to help restore old and worn-out boards to their former shiny and blemish-free surfaces. For your reference, here is a brief guide on our polishing and sanding process.

Our Floor Sanding and Polishing Process



1. In every flooring project that we handle, preparation is one of the most important steps. First, we make sure that all nails on the floorboards are punched down. We will also remove tacks or staples that may affect the floor sanding job.
2. If you have floor coverings, we will also take them off so we can have a clean and bare surface to work on.
3. Next, our team will use coarse-grit papers to get rid of any old coatings and ensure that the timber floor is even.
4. After that, we will sand hard-to-reach areas using an edging machine.
5. If the surface needs trimming, rounding, or shaping, our workers will also use our top-grade belt sander.
6. When we're done with the final finishing, we will vacuum the dust and dirt on the surface and prepare the floor for polishing.
7. Once done, we will use a solvent-based/oil/water-based polyurethane coating or other sealants that you prefer.
